HAPPY NEW YEAR!

First of all, yep I told you that I'm gonna post more often but to be fair it's not my fault! ;) I'm back in Vienna but my flatmates aren't, so I kinda miss someone who takes photos. Yeah there would be my hamster but I doubt that he can do that..
So instead of new photos I'm gonna write something about 2013 and of cause the new year!

Kind of scary how fast the year passed by, isn't it? I swear it was like yesterday when I celebrated new years eve 2013. But to be honest it wasn't my worst year, it was quite a good one, though.. I really started to do what I love and just been passionate about it. Look at it, I started a fashion blog. I always wanted one, but never had the nuts and now here I am :) And yes of cause there have been setbacks and frustration but at least I can say that I tried my best at this very moment. Further I think I really have grow up a lot, I mean it was my first year in a new city, my own flat and it comes with a lot responsibility, and I guess I handled it not that bad otherwise I wouldn't be here today. I have to admit that I'm a little bit proud of myself and thankful for everything what happened in 2013!

But for all those who hadn't such a good year, don't give up! Tomorrow is the first blank of a 365 page book. Write a good one. Nope, better, write a bestseller! :) You can decide how to live and what you wanna do with your life so go and follow your dreams, you will not regret it! So for 2014 we all gonna be our best selves! This is gonna be fun :)
I wish you all the best!

Lots of love

Merry Christmas

I found this fabric weeks ago, and wasn't sure how I'm gonna use until last week.. I thought because of the
glimmer it would be a lovely dress. And so I made this dress just for Christmas the other day, it was kind of spontaneous but I think it fits quite well and it looks nice, doesn't it?
I tried to style it classy, since it's Christmas ;) Some
jewelry and the look is complete.

Just wanted to wish you a merry Christmas and a lovely time with your families and friends! Thank you so much for your support, the last couple of month have been amazing for me, you are the best! Enjoy your Christmas, you deserve it!

Lots of love!
xx Lisa

home sweet home

fur - H&M
skirt - H&M
shirt - H&M

HO HO HO! I'm back!
I am so sorry that I hadn't time to post or at least to take some pictures. But as we all know christmas isn't only a lovely time but also a stressful time. And since I need someone to take pictures is kind of challenging, especially at christmas time. Anyway..

I'm not  really in christmas mood but I'm indeed happy at the moment. Finally I'm back home. It's been ages! You can't imagine how great it feels to see aaaaall you beloved friends and family. And to be honest I enjoy the nature here, particularly the lake!

So today I took some pictures at the tinyyyy little
creek in my village. Some nature in contrast to my normal backgrounds.
I wore a faux fur from H&M today. I finally got one, I can't even remember when I started to want one ;) It was on sale, therefore I just couldn't say no! And if you are interested in fashion you probably have noticed that fur is definitely a must have for every winter wardrobe!
Underneath I decided to match same patterns, these time,
dots. I just thought it would look nice together since both (the shirt and the skirt) are b/w but just the other way around. And I have to say, I love this combo and I can't stop wearing it. It never gets bored.

I hope my mom is gonna take some pictures of me for my christmas post.
Merry Christmas!

black'n'white

jacket - asos
dress - H&M
rings - asos

Puh, how time flies! Admittedly, December is the only month that passes that quickly but this year it feels like I flick my fingers and suddenly it's close to christmas. In that case, I'm sorry that I didn't managed to post new outfit. Time flows to quick!

Everybody knows that christmas time is present time and that's why I want to thank you lovely guys for all your support and loyalty and therefore don't forget to sign up for my little giveaway which I posted last week!

Yesterday I finally got my package from ASOS. I ordered this amazing biker jacket with fur inside which is from River Island, and it's the cosiest winter jacket ever (actually it's my mothers early Christmas present). Outside it's so windy, it's like a hurrican BUT with this jacket it wasn't frozy at all. So yes, I'm in love. I also got those amazing rings, although I'm kinda broke, I saw them and just had to order them.
Further I added a black dress which has some white details on shoulders and wrist.

Slow and steady

skirt - forever 21
tee - H&M
blouse - H&M
studed headband - forever 21
shoes - old

This is a outfit from last week, I just hadn't time to post it earlier. But better late than never, right?
It's is such a typical combi for me. A skirt with a tee or/and a blouse underneath. Always a right choise! You can wear and mix nearly every fabic design together and it's always a perfect match! Guess, that's why I love this combi, it's the easiest way to get a nice look! And I don't know if you feel the same but I love love love this monochrome design of the skirt.

I got some new fabric today and already did some skretching.. that means tomorrow will be a DIY day! Jeeeeeej. So visit my blog tomorrow to learn how you can make a kimono in some simple steps!

can't you make it sane

kimono - vintage
dress - primark
blouse - H&M
necklace - H&M
shoes - Zalando

Happy first sunday of advent!!

To be honest, today was more a lazy sunday than everything else. But I really liked to dress up my new kimono which I got at the huge thrift market the other day, and as it is to cold to wear it outside I just took some photos in my room instead.
These days I'm in love with kimonos, they are just so comfy and goes on top of everything! And I especially adore this design, it reminds me a bit of watercolor... Because of the special design I thought it would be the best to add uncluttered clothes underneath, so added a grey mullet dress and a blouse, which I wear quite often lately. A necklace and a hat, and done!

black & golden lace

coat - vintage (similar here)
shirt - vintage
high waist shorts - forever 21
cardigan - forever 21

It was quite hard to decide what to wear today, because it had to be something which fits for the day and for tonight's concert. In the end I went with a all black outfit with golden elements. I really love this shirt because its made of lace.. I actually forgot how much I adore lace pieces!
The coat is actually an oversized blazer I scored at a vintage store the other day, and I added a black cardigan and some more layers underneath. It's cold as heck but I'm just not a pants type. So I remain faithful to thights, shorts and skirts. ;)

Just two more hours to The 1975 concert, I'm excited as hell! I will let you know how it was!

It's frozen

jacket - forever 21
turtleneck - vintage
skirt - zara

As I woke up today it was indeed cold but I'd never imagined that it was snowing when I step out of the door. Guess that means that winter has officially arrived and as I'm not a fan of freezing days and darkness at 5.00pm, I can say that I'm everything else than happy about it. But nevertheless I can't change the weather (yeah I know, what a shock right?) I have to deal with it. In that case I was glad that I chose a warm and cosy turtleneck this morning, which I paired with a woolly skirt. But as I didn't realized that it would be so cold, I just added a leather jacket overneath. Chosen a coat would have been a smarter idea...

And the night is calling to me

overall - vintage
turtleneck - vintage
coat - H&M (very old)

So this is one of my favorite looks so far.  It reminds me of a highschool uniform or a tiny little bit of a way to short church outfit, just more fun.
Overall dresses and plaid are two of my favorite trends, separately, but together it's the perfect fusion.
I’m obsessed with plaid skirts and dresses. Got some new today at a second hand market, it felt like heaven! I'm gonna show you some of those soon! However.. I paired it with a turtleneck, which is in my opinion a must-have for every winter wardrobe.

I told you about the DIY's in my last post. I'm gonna start to sew today, so check out my blog in few days for christmas present inspiration.

half a heart

dress - Zara
vest - H&M
shoes - Zalando

Since I had to work this weekend (which was quite cool because I worked at a tattoo convention and I ate lunch with zombie boy :D) and didn't got my lazy sunday I had a lazy monday instead. So today was all about my favorite tv shows and blogging. But in the evening I felt like dressing up, so I did.
I put on my one of my favorite dresses which I own from Zara. I adore it because it has an open back and for that my tattoo is shown. A leather vest on top, some high heels I got from my granny two christmas ago and over-knees socks and done!

NEWS
Christmas is coming and in that case I thought it would be nice if I show you guys some DIY's. How you make a skirt in some minutes, a clutch or how you can pimp your old clothes.

casual friday

cardigan - forever 21
blouse - H&M
tee - H&M
pants - bershka
beanie - H&M

I swear, yesterday was the best concert ever. He is indeed a huge talent! Never experienced such a great connection between artist and audience. During meaningful songs it was so quiet, everyone just enjoyed and listened to the musik, he even was able to sang without mircophone. I had such a great time! I want to go baaaack!

Today its a casual friday outfit post, simple, easy and very comfortable.
I wear the blouse-sweater-combo at least once a week. Every day when I don't know what to wear or I haven't time to choose I always reach to this combo. Today it wasn't a sweater but a oversized tee and a shoulderless blouse.
Usually I go with classic denim shorts or a skirt in every color or design but today it was so cold that I put on some red leather pants, I think I haven't wore them since last winter, because they're simply to warm for spring and summer. Last but not least put cardigan on to keep warm.

I'm not be able to post the next two days,  but you will see more outfits next week!
Have a nice weekend!

counting the days

coat - vero moda
skirt - forever 21
blouse - bershka
sweater - vintage
shoes - asos

Do you know this feeling when you suddenly hear a song you haven't heard for ages? The feeling when you immediately connect this song to a memory? Somehow I am pretty much sensititzed for music at the moment. Not a minute goes by without listening to music these days. And therfore I'm pretty excited about the Passenger concert tonight. Just a few hours left, aaaah! It's gonna be amazing. You will get a feedback tomorrow.

I haven't wore a mullet skirt since ages, and today I was like: You need to go out, poor skirt. For those autumn days layers are perfect. Just take any blouse you can find, pull over a sweater and you have a warm and stylish combination. I chose a blouse with a bow tie to get a classy touch and these amazing sparkling sweater which I got second hand.

That's pretty it! I'm kind in a hurry, need to get ready for the concert, see you tomorrow!

classy against trashy

blazer - H&M
shirt - H&M
leggings - H&M

Guess, it's a H&M day!
I really like to pimp my clothes or create my own stuff. It's so easy and it gives your clothes your personal touch. Anyway.. Today I wore a over-sized shirt which I got from men section at H&M. And to get my "personal touch" I used a pair of scissors to cut some holes and further I ripped it to get a thrashier look.
A perfect match for every over-sized shirt are leggings, and for the final touch I choose a boyfriend blazer. I adore trashy outfits with something classy like a blazer, it's an ultimate combination.
I just can't live without something on my head, I get nuts without a
headgear. Today I used a fabric leftover as a hairband to calm down my obsession.
