Glory days

Another category ;)
I want you to introduce you to my bestie, Gina. I adore her! We know each other for 16 years, we stuck together through kindergarden, our whole school education and we even stayed close while living in different countries. No doubt, we have been through a lot! Guess that's called true friendship! :)  I'm pleased to have her and that we are still so close.
Besides our great connection, we had aways shared a passion for fashion. During our teenie years we took a lot of pictures. I remember one time as we spend the whole day to paper a room with newspapers just to take some photos. Haha. The good old days! ;) If I'm able to find some of those pictures I'm gonna show you! We were too cute!
As for those reasons we decided to do some shootings together.

Me two seconds after leaving my house:

I see fire

jacket - H&M
dress - H&M
sweater - H&M
boots - Doc Martens

Oh wow, managed to take some pictures!
Today I'm back with my old best friends, black and white. Actually I wear a long-sleeve dress, but I put a sweater on top to stay warm. I got the tight dress a little while ago in H&M sales, the shape isn't really typical for me, guess I will wear it as a basic piece and pull over shirts and stuff.
The sweater is remodeled, you can find the DIY instructions in my last post! Leather jacket and a faux fur scarf to stay comfy and warm.
Unfortunately you can't see my new Doc Martens properly. But believe me, they are everything I ever wanted! Best purchase so far ;)

DIY: shredded sweater

It's unbelievable simple. Undoubtedly, every outfit gets a great edgy touch with such a shredded sweater.

WHAT YOU NEED
  • any sweater, old or new
  • scissors
Follow the steps below.

  1. You just need to cut one mesh.
  2. Unravel the thread (with you got by cutting a mesh..).
  3. Do it as long till you get proper hole. You can make it bigger in retrospect, but I would recommend to start with a smaller one and work it over afterwards.
  4. Basically you just pull on the following threads and rip it.

01 INFLUENCE: Back to classroom

Most of us are real 90's kids. We all grew up with certain movies/shows like Clueless or for the younger generation it would be Gossip Girl, with their tartan mini skirts and over-knee socks.

Back in 2012 many designer collections had been characterized by the schoolgirl look. Obviously, this had been the first steps of the return. Since that moment you can find the schoolish touch nearly in every collection and on fashion bloggers.

THE ELEMENTS

Basically there are two categories, depending on your personal style I guess. Innocent or rebellious, depending on how do you style it.
There's no real limit to how you can inject a little bit of a schoolgirl touch.

  • TARTAN/PLAID
For sure one of the main elements. Doesn't matter if it's a classic pleated skirt, trousers or a blazer. You even can find it in accessory like hairbands or bags.
  • SOCKS
Any kind of socks, over-knees, calf socks or ankle socks under loafers or brogues. This is one of the most common schoolish accessory at the moment, I guess. You can find it definitely on every single fashion enthusiast and blogger.
  • ON THE TOP
Shirts or blouses buttoned-up, probably layered under sweaters or other knits.
  • ACCESSORY
Big glasses, ties, tie-bows, hairbands, backpacks, briefcases, etc...

In my case I have to admit that I'm absolutely obsessed with this style. I own all these element above, and I love every single one of it ;)

To get a better impression I put some outfit's together.

To find out where you can get the pieces, risk a look on my POLYVORE!

Which is your favorite?

01 WISHLIST: January

As I told you in my previous post, here is my first category.
Guess the title is enough to know what it's about. Wishlist is all about my favorites at these very moment. I think about doing one once a month. Unsure if I choose pieces of one store or if I just mix all my faves from all shops together. Perhaps it just gonna be a variable category! Hope you like it, though..

For my very first wishlist I decided to add pieces from
various online shops, and I kinda put them together in whole outfits. I hope I'm able to purchase them soon, cause those are my faves and I feel like I really need them in my life. ;)

Simple klick on the shop names below to get them.

  1. TEE LA LUNA
I just fancy the print. As you all know, I'm a fan of b&w. And let's be honest, you never own enough black tee's,  don't you? Oh and have you noticed the tiny golden accents?
Unfortunately, I could only find it on the american side of  URBAN OUTFITTERS!

  2. TEE ADVISORY
I picked another one from the European
URBAN OUTFITTERS, which I would like to own.

  3. PLAID TROUSERS
There is nothing to explain.. I just love the tartan/plaid fabric, already have some skirts and blouses.. it only lacks on trousers!
You can get the green one at URBAN OUTFITTERS.

  4. PLAID TROUSERS
    The red one is from
ROMWE, they also have it in green.

  5. CUT OUT BOOTS
I can't even remember when I started to want a pair cut out boots. Guess I was love in the first sight when I saw the Jeffrey Campbell's. Come on, who the hell can afford them? At least, I don't.
So here is a other version, but to be honest, I like them more. Again a monochrome pattern.I found them on NEW LOOK. They also offer them in overall black and white.

  6. JEWELRY
I'm not really a bracelet girl, but in combo with a ring I looks amazing. It has such a graceful touch.
This handpiece is from VANESSA MOONEY. She has stunning jewelry, go and check her out!If it's to expensive for you, I caught some similar jewelry at FOREVER21 the other day ;)

Hope you enjoyed and if anyone wants to get rid of their money and wants to buy one ore more pieces for me, I'd be totally down with that.

I'M ALIVE

Well well, it has been quite a time!
I know I always apologize for blogging too less. But I had some exams to pass (unfortunately I didn't pass them all..) and I don't wanna bother my roomies with taking pictures of me. Is this somehow comprehensible? Anyway, please forgive me?

Since I'm not able to post every outfit I wear, unless someone make a sacrifice of taking pictures, I'm gonna make some other posts instead. I thought about inspiration posts, my personal must-have's, wishlists or even show you some of my favorite bloggers!
DEAL? Great! First post will be online tomorrow! Stay tuned!

And of cause I keep trying to show you some pictures of mine every than and now, but as I said, it's quite difficult to find someone who has time to waist their time. Does that even make sense?! Sorry, I had a grand coffee earlier, I should have had a smaller one. ;)

Oh but there's one thing I can't keep any longer from you. I'm back to nature! Means, I'm brown again!
I didn't took any proper pictures yet, so here is one taken with my mobile. YEEY SELFIE TIME!

The first few days were so strange,  feels like I hadn't brown hair since forever! Well, I had quite a lot of hair changes in 2013.. But I stay with brown now, it's just the best choice to get back to nature when you try to get rid of a pixie cut. It took some time till I realized it, but better late than never, right?

Lots of love
