All the reasons

coat - vintage
tee - H&M
velvet skirt - DIY
tights/socks - Primark
backpack - Primark

Do you know what I love? When spring is coming, the sun is up, it's getting warmer and you even hear the birds singing. That's all what matters..if there wouldn't be school. I'm stuck in schoolbooks and portfolios. Just two more month till my exams. Feels like time is slipping away and I'm not prepared at all.. So please forgive me if I'm blogging irregular in the next few month. My future is dependent on those exams..

I wore a monochrome outfit again. It's just so simple for lazy and uninspired days. If I have one of those days I almost always choose a black and white combo.

My books are waiting.. See you soon!

simple pleasures

Let's face the fact that I'm mostly wearing dresses and skirt. I adore them and they are sooo suitable, but sometimes I need it comfortable and cosy. Like this weekend when I was stuck in a train for some hours. This is what I wore for my travel.
It's more a rocker look, but as alway I try to give my outfits a cute/classy touch even though the rest of the look is a little trashy. Therefore I added a blouse with a lace collar under my sweater.
I wanted a pair of plaid trousers for ages, but I couldn't find cheap ones. Those leggings are a good start though..

Probably you have noticed my glasses. Yes I need them and yes they where lost. It's actually a funny story. Lost them in autumn last year, I have to admit that I was drinking that night. Anyhow, I thought they where lost for good! Now comes the funny part. My hamster got out of his cage about 10 days ago and I moved the furniture because he was underneath it.. and there they where.. behind a commode. Thanks Mustache (my hamster's name) for bringing them back to me! :D
OH and yes he fine and back in his cage ;)

don't refuse

crop sweater - BERSHKA
chiffon dress - BERSHKA
boots - NEW LOOK
tights - NEW LOOK
socks - PRIMARK

Late night post!
Have been very busy at work these weekend, even though I should put my focus on school. Really need to study!
Anyhow.. I took this pictures on my roof again. Still kind of awkward, especially the weird neighbor on the balcony on the other house. He is always there... It this creepy or am I just oversensitive of being watched while taking selfies? :D

I wore this outfit several days ago and I think you will see me walking around with this outfit a couple of times from now on, because I absolutely adore black and white combos. And this is definitely one of my faves at the moment. I simply added a crop sweater over a black chiffon dress with lace details. As the top was already casual I went for a edgy bottom. My beloved cut-out boots from NEW LOOK (which I mentioned before), a pair of cute socks and a net tights. DONE!

HOPE YOU HAD A AMAZING WEEKEND!
GOOD NIGHT!

coat - THRIFTED
dress - H&M
tights - NEW LOOK
shoes - BOOHOO
accessory - PRIMARK

Hiii lovely ones!

I have been working a lot lately, and do you know what that means? Money, and what does this mean? Right, I'm a very busy shopper the last couple of weeks! It was planed that I post all my newbies, but honestly, you all would think I'm nuts.. haha I bought way too much (At least that's what the most people would say. In my case, I can never get enough!). Guess what I also got? A camera tripod! I'm independent! HA I don't need anyone to take pictures anymore. Taking selfies on the roof was kind of awkward, though.. but I'm gonna get used to it!

So today it felt like spring. Haven't seen the sun for ages or at least this is how it felt like. Inspired by the warm weather and my incredible good mood (which relates to the springy weather) I went for a floral dress and a perfect thin black coat. I thrifted this coat in December and I literally counted the day till it was warm enough to wear it. AND today was the lucky day! :)
Additionally to the flowers on my dress, I put on a flower headband. Just for another springy note.
I really hope the weather stays like that, because I already have soooo many outfits in mind which I can't wait to wear.

ALL THE BEST FROM ME TO YOU!

NEW IN: new look recommendation

My order finally arrived. It took about 12 days, that's normal for a delivery from UK...
That's what I got:

  1. PUNK TEE 14,99€
Super comfy, the fabric feels so nice.
  2. CUT OUT BOOTS 39,99€
Never thought that they would be so comfortable and well done. Those boots are my best deal so far.
  3. PARENTAL ADVISORY TEE 17,99€
Original I was looking for a black one, but white is fine as well.
I got a bunch of tights and socks as well, yep again.. They get broke so fast, so I always buy some when I go shopping.
Maybe you saw my 'wishlist' last month, if so, maybe you recognize some pieces ;)
All in all NEW LOOK is a great shop. I really can recommend it. Fair price and great quality, I have nothing bad to say about it! Except, this surly wasn't my last purchase from NEW LOOK! :)

Have a nice one! x

on the top

faux fur - H&M
sweater - Zara
skirt - H&M
wedges - H&M
belt - H&M

This wasn't a OOTD, would have been a little bit too overdressed. But I enjoyed dressing up in these amazing pieces ;) OH I just got in mind, New York Fashion Week takes place currently and this would be a great outfit to walk through the streets during FW! Unfortunately I'm stuck in Vienna and work..
However... this shoot was fun. We found this place by accident. Actually we climbed out of a window and in that very moment it started to snow. It was literally perfect! :) Never have been on a roof top before, so it was kinda exciting too.

Right now I'm totally into faux fur. They keep you unbelievable warm and let's be honest, they are so fashionable! I decided to pair the jacket with a strong colored skirt, which I think is the perfect contrast to the other pieces and it's a great match to the background. Haven't wore a maxi in ages, I love them in spring and summer, I don't no way but I just don't like to wear them in winter.
I just keep praying for spring, it's my favorite time! You can truly wear everything at these season. It's neither hot nor cold. It's the perfect balance to pair leather jackets with cute dresses or maxis. I swear, I can't wait..

Have a nice day!

personal update

Hiiii cutie pies :)

Maybe some of you know that I'm doing my high school graduation currently. Yep, I'm a little bit slower than all of you. School just never happened to be one of my favorite things ;) Anyhow, I'm still proud that I finally made it (actually I haven't made it yet) and as I have said several times: Better later than never!
So in few month, I'm done. One of the biggest questions and choices is: What the heck am I doing with my life? What do I wanna do? And how am I gonna achieve it?
Either you have already mastered this important choice or the moment is quite close where you have to. In my case the moment is really close, literally on the next corner...

I'm glad that at least I know in with direction I wanna go. The only thing I'm and always was passionate about is the fashion world. It's one of my biggest dreams to be able to explore and work in the fashion industry. I'm aware that many people would love that, but a girl can dream, right? I will try! It's what I want and I know it's a long hard way but I'm ready to give my best and do what I have to do for my dreams. And no doubt, I'm gonna fight for it!

Fine, I'm not longer beat about the bush, and tell you what I'm up for (even though I'm not even really sure yet)... I know one thing clearer than anything else, I do not wanna study fashion design! I'm thinking more in the direction of merchandising or fashion journalism/communication. I can't really decide yet.
Currently I'm living in Vienna/Austria. I never planed to study here, I only moved here for my high school graduation. I'm not kidding when I say that it's impossible to study one of those subjects here. And to be honest, Vienna is everything else than a fashion metropolis.. That's why I'm planing to move away.
I have two cities in mind.. My long term favorite is London. I always wanted to live there. And there are indeed the world greatest fashion schools, if you got the chance to study there, you sure will get the best education. BUT it's not really cheap there. And this is basically my only hitch, and unfortunately the only thing that is able to prevent my dream.
So I was looking for another possibility and I found Berlin. Right, Berlin isn't such a huge fashion metropolis than London, NY or Paris, but it's still important and I would definitely count it to the bigger ones. And the most important thing is that Berlin has great schools as well.

The question is, how am I gonna archive this? All those sort of schools have fees and somehow I need to be able to afford them.
And THIS is my plan how I'm gonna do that:

I got the great opportunity to work in IBIZA this summer as a promoter! I'm aware that it's impossible to save enough money for my whole education, but it's a good start. :)
And I literally can't wait to spend the whole summer there. Of cause I will be working the most of the time, but I'm sure that is still gonna be a great time and a lot of fun. Especially because my bestie Gina is going as well! Oh, I'm excited! I booked the flight yesterday, so there is no way back :)
I leave in June and will stay till September.

This is it.. turned out as a pretty long and detailed personal post. I hope I haven't bored you! ;)
Wish you a great weekend!
xx

she way out

leather jacket - H&M
top - little store at Koh Phi Phi (Thailand)
trousers - H&M

This is a outfit from the other day. I wore it for a night out. Basically there isn't much to say about it.. Kept it quite casual but rocky that night. Nevertheless it's one of my faves lately.
I can remember when I bought that top this summer. I was just going through the streets on a island called Koh Phi Phi and then I hit me. I just had to bought it, it love on the first sight ;) Really need to wear it more often!

STYLE CRUSH: Pixie Geldof

PERSON: Pixie Geldof, 23, british

CLAIM OF FAME: daughter of rockstar Bob Geldof, international model and lead singer of the band Violet

STYLE: Experimental

She changes her clothing choices and especially her hair styles a lot (bright pink, super short platinum blonde to a typical brown pixie cut). Pixie has a daring personal style, isn't afraid to try something new and doesn't care about other opinions.
Always dressed up in leather jackets, layered necklaced, shredded jeans, edgy dress's and crop tops. I would describe her style as somewhat between punk rock princess meets 80's glam. You also can find many grungy 90's influences in her style.
But in the other second you can find her wearing dressy outfits at events and on the red carpet. But she always give those dresses her personal note, they always suits her look.

Personally I adore her for her 'I don't give a fuck and wear what I want' attitude. Going from punk rock with dark eyeliner and messy hair, to a elegant look with pastels an pretty dresses, she can master any look whilst giving it her own little touch.

Oh I love her and everything she wears!
